A signature is a small thing. Until it's wrong.
One missed initial can kick a loan back. One wrong date can stall a closing. One sloppy certificate can end the deal.
I check every page, every date, every signature line, before anyone leaves the table.
Call it overkill. I call it the job.
Signatures still mean something.

Acknowledgments, jurats, oaths and affirmations, signature witnessing, copy certifications. Affidavits, powers of attorney, vehicle titles, school and travel consent forms, business documents.

Home, office, coffee shop, hospital, care facility. Evenings and weekends available. You pick the table, I bring the ink.

Can't meet in person? Remote online notarization over secure live video is on the way.

Purchases, refinances, HELOCs, seller packages. For title, escrow, and signing services that need the package back clean, complete, and on time

Oregon notarial fees are capped at $10 per notarial act ($25 for remote online notarization). Travel fees are separate from notarial fees, are not set by law, and are agreed on with you before your appointment. You will always get the full total before I head your way.

Commission No. 1XXXXX5 expires 08.17.2030
I know the streets are alphabetical and I miss La Luna more than you

Government-issued photo ID with your signature: driver license, state ID card, passport, military ID, or tribal ID. Oregon lets me accept ID that is current or expired less than three years. The name needs to match your document. No usable ID? A credible witness who personally knows you may be an option. Ask me during booking.
No. Choosing the certificate for you counts as legal advice, and I'm not an attorney. Ask whoever is receiving the document whether they need an acknowledgment, a jurat (sworn statement), or a witnessed signature. Once you tell me which one, I bring the correct Oregon certificate and attach it if your document doesn't already have one. Not sure? I can show you the state's list of notarial acts and you choose.
No. I can't draft documents, tell you which form to use, or explain what it means legally. Get the form from the agency, attorney, or company that needs it. My part is verifying who you are and that you're signing willingly.
Please don't. Most of what I do requires me to watch you sign, so wait for me. Already signed? Don't panic and don't reprint yet. Tell me when you book. Depending on the notarial act your document calls for, you may be able to acknowledge your signature in front of me, or just sign again.
Your choice: your office, a coffee shop, a hospital or care facility. Anywhere in the Portland metro with a flat surface and decent light. I prefer public settings and know several locations open 24 hours in the metro area. Farther away - let's chat and find a solution for both of us.
Not yet, but soon. Remote online notarization is in the works. For now, I come to you anywhere in the Portland metro. Need it online today? Other notaries and national platforms offer it now. Before you book one, check that whoever is receiving your document accepts online notarization. Want to know when I'm live? Email info@wetinksigning.com with "Online" in the subject and I'll let you know.

Yes. If a signer can't be identified, doesn't seem to understand what they're signing, or is being pressured, I stop. That's the job, and it's not up for negotiation. Not for a rush fee, not for "but we drove all the way here," not even for Alkaline Trio tickets.
No. Oregon notaries can't certify copies of vital records. Order certified copies from the Oregon Center for Health Statistics or the county that issued it.
Apostilles are issued by the Oregon Secretary of State, not by notaries. I can notarize the document first if it needs it; the apostille request goes to the state.
I am not an attorney licensed to practice law. I am not allowed to draft legal records, give advice on legal matters, including immigration, or charge a fee for those activities.
